It's some Tix in a Box!!

If you read my last post, you get that title. If not, you think I am a nut job and you may be right. As the boodles have heard, my students are sending me to see Justin Timberlake on March 4th at Houston's Toyota Center and I could not be more elated if I tried. I even scored a membership to the Justin Timberlake fan club which will give me a free shirt, though I already ordered an "Omeletteville" one that will make my life complete. What's up with the teeny bopper crush? I know, it's lame, but being a grownup is lamer sometimes.

Anyways, for anyone who didn't hear the story, I randomly said in class that I wanted to see JT but that the tix were too expensive so I wasn't going to go. One of my super kiddo's started a group on Facebook called "Send Mrs. Cumberland to see Justin Timberlake" and raised about $100 to send me to the concert from my kids (and quite frankly, some kids I only know from on Facebook who aren't even in my class). She let me know this weekend that they had gotten them and I am super excited.

Not that it means anything, but I heard JT and Cameron D broke up over the holidays...could it be fate? Jason, if you are reading this, we need to update our "stars we can cheat on each other with" list. Kidding, of course. Let me leave you all with this awesome picture...
