Anyways, Dylan can (and constantly does):
* Count to 13 (where he just goes "turteen, turteen, turteen.")
* Identify his ABC's (and spell his name, which he won't perform for others often)
* Name the main colors (no ecru or bashful here, but blue, red, green is nice)
* Say "Mama" over. and over. and over. Hi Mama. over. and over. Mama. Mama. Hi Mama.
* Line tons of things up in the straightest lines ever. I've been told numerous times that it is a sign of autism. Thanks to all the optimists, like his life won't be hard enough simply having been born to me and Jason
* Says please and thank you
* Grow his hair super long, as everyone points out (and alludes to a mullet that ain't there)
* Sometimes hits Jason in his junk and makes me laugh and laugh and laugh.
Won't do:
* Potty train (will cure cancer with a poopie diaper)
* Vacuum and mop (and frankly that is why we had him)
* Sit down and eat a meal. He likes things on the go.

I had to laugh when I read this. Don't feel bad, my son lines everything up as well. To the point of compulsive. But I just shrug and say 'it's just a phase'

Great picture's. You know after my dad had brain surgery he started line things up. Never did that before.
He's such a cutie (a smart cutie!). My mother constantly says out of the blue "I don't think Drew is autistic." as if we have had previous conversations to lead otherwise! LOL! And I only wish Drew would line stuff up! She's in the "fling over her shoulder" and "scatter all over the world" stage! LOL!

Love the pictures - he is a cutie. I understand where you're coming from with the potty training - my little guy was so lazy it took him until he was almost 4 to get it down! Then he still had to wear goodnights to bed. I think it's a boy thing ;)

I was going to tell you to update. Then I remembered that you've actually updated more recently than I have.
Oh, and I meant to tell you that Jim's mom asked us once if we thought Jensen was autistic. She didn't speak a word for the longest time and I guess that was her conculsion. Now, you can't get Jensen to be quiet!
Hi! This is the first time I've checked out your blog (I'm smartcookie44 on Simply Obsessed). My oldest STILL lines everything up, and he's 4 1/2. And he freaks out if his 2 year old brother dares to move anything out of line! I think he's just a little bit OCD like his Grandma (I blame her for everything...) It's convenient! :-)
brandi, my son IS autistic, and when lining up is the only concern you have, I'm PRETTY SURE you just have an orderly child! lol. But it is interesting to see little kids do that, isn't it? With my son it was his cars. over and over and over and over...
